We are currently looking for Casual Track Attendants & Service Staff that want to share in the commitment, responsibility, and discipline required to achieve our vision here at Pitstop Karting.​

 

Are you a highly motivated and passionate individual that works well in a team environment, and is willing to create unforgettable karting experiences for all our customers, whether they are first timers or regulars at our facility?

We are looking for driven, upbeat, enthusiastic, friendly natured people with a will to succeed and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting all customers and assisting with the registration process

  • Effectively following Pitstop Karting Policies & Procedures

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Maintaining rider safety

  • Observing sessions

  • Assisting customers on and off track

  • Enforcing the track rules and safety briefing information

  • Communicating with other team members about on-track race operations

  • Effectively following Pitstop Karting Policies and Procedures

  • Exceptional Customer service

  • Outdoor physical work

  • Maintaining facility and track cleanliness and karting equipment

 

Job Skills and Specifications:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all Pitstop Karting visitors

  • Answer phones in a professional and friendly manner

  • Help customers with questions and/or concerns both in person and over the phone

  • Taking payment - using the till

  • Coordinate and schedule race sessions precisely and efficiently

  • Standing for long periods of time

  • Minor lifting required

  • Perform opening and closing duties

  • Instruct new customers on proper kart usage, race procedures, and racing safely

 

Applicant job requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Have Drivers Licence

  • Highly reliable, punctual, and well organised

  • Positive, hardworking can-do attitude

  • Must be physically fit and able to work long shifts

  • Shows initiative and attention to detail

  • Clean presentation

  • A team player

  • Great customer service and communication skills

  • Must be able to work weekends and nights

 

Please note this type of industry works outside of normal business hours – whilst you’re at work, everyone else has time off. Please only apply if you can commit to working after hours, night-time, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
